Myriads (formerly SGoF+) is a software package for
p-value-based
multiple testing that also implements a
dependence test and
p-value
simulation.
Myriads performs very well under high-dimensional biological data, easily managing hundreds of thousands of
p-values.
Myriads includes multiple testing correction methods as FWER-based methods
SGoF,
Bonferroni,
sequential Bonferroni and
Hommel, and the
Benjamini-Hochberg (BH),
Benjamini and Yekutieli (BY),
Benjamini, Krieger and Yekutieli (BKY) FDR-based methods, a modified
sliding linear model (SLIM) and
Bon-EV methods, and the permutation-based
maxT; jointly with different q-value estimation algorithms (see
Methodology section).
The
Myriads software is implemented for Windows and Ubuntu. Source files are also provided along with a makefile to compile on Linux and macOS.
A MATLAB version of the SGoF algorithm was developed by
Garth Thompson from
M.I.N.D. Lab,
Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, and is available
here.
